Writing Works
The Prince follows a cast of Shakespearean characters becoming self-aware and crashing through the Shakespeare Multiverse, exploring themes of identity and social pressure - I Saw the TV Glow meets Tom Stoppard. The original production was staged in London at the Southwark Playhouse in 2022. It was financed by and filmed for the premium streaming service Nebula, and when Abigail announced it on Philosophy Tube it drove so many subscriptions that it made profit before it even opened.
The groundbreaking play went on to win Best New Play and Best Lead Actor (Abigail) at the Broadway World Awards, and Abigail won the Off West End Award for contributions to British theatre. The published text is available from Methuen Drama and the filmed version is available on Nebula. The film was screened in New York at the Angelika Film Center and sold out 200+ seats in 20 minutes off a single tweet. Since the original run The Prince has been licensed out to companies across the USA, Canada, and England, with upcoming productions in Tacoma (2026) and Chicago (2027). It has frequently sold out, and the Canadian premiere won multiple awards from the Western Ontario Drama League Festival. The script is available from Methuen Drama, an imprint of Bloomsbury.
Abigail's debut short Dracula’s Ex-Girlfriend starred Abigail and Morgana Ignis as two vampires connecting over dinner. It was influenced by My Dinner with Andre and Jennifer’s Body, exploring themes of abuse and female friendship. The announcement drove so many subscriptions to Nebula that it made profit before filming began.
Abigail's debut feature is in development in the USA.
